What does my package include?
The Groove Addiction experience is an all encompassing live music experience, offering an industry standard two hour long live set, working alongside a live DJ who will play in between sets and put on a special ‘Afterparty’ DJ set once the band has finished. The band will also bring all the lights, PA and other gear they need to give you and your guests a night worth remembering.
Do you take song requests?
Yes, of course! Our band has worked tirelessly for years to compile only the very best floor fillers as part of their extensive repertoire. We are confident that we know just the right way to get you and your guests to dance the night away, but if there are any songs from our repertoire that will make your night extra special, let us know so that they can find their way into our live or afterparty sets!
Are you happy to work with sound limiters and Electric Drum kits?
Our musicians have years of experience across the UK, and have work in many different venues. As a result, our live experience has been specially curated and designed to work under any sound restrictions, ensuring you can get the best experience possible.
Are you insured and Pat tested ?
All the equipment our bands bring fully complies with PAT testing regulations, and the members themselves have PLI insurance worth £1M, so you can rest assured that our members are fully covered and ready to comply with whatever your venue requires of them.
What is the bands usual timeline?
The band will require 90 minutes to setup, including a full volume soundcheck. Once this is complete, the band will be ready to begin their first hour long set at your agreed upon time. Following that, the Live DJ will keep up the vibe while the band have a minimum of a 30 minute break. Upon completion of the bands headline set, the DJ will begin their ‘Afterparty’ set which will last until midnight, or the venues curfew, whichever comes first. This means that if the band arrives at their earliest time of 5pm, you get almost 6 hours of non stop music!
Are there any hidden costs ?
Our package is designed to be as transparent as possible, with one great price to suit everyone! Once you’ve paid our upfront cost, there is absolutely nothing else you will need to pay - perfect to help keep the budget in check!
How do we pay you?
Paying for your band with us couldn’t be simpler! We simply require a small deposit up front in order to secure your chosen date in our calendar. From there you are free to pay the remainder anytime up to two weeks before the date of the event, so you have all the flexibility you need!
What do we need to provide?
The band will require a level, dry and safe performance area to set up in, with adequate cover from outside elements. They will also require access to a minimum of two safe power outlets.
What if the band have a last minute issue on the day meaning any of the musicians are unable to perform?
One of the greatest benefits of booking the Groove Addiction is that we work as a collective, meaning that each position in the band has multiple members ready to step in. This ensures that your performance can go ahead unhindered, no matter the circumstances. These aren’t just deps, each musician is a full member of the band, working together to ensure that no matter which member attends your event, the quality remains at the same high level.
